Barbara M. Anderson, age 92, of Faribault, died on April 29, 2026, at Carriage House Assisted Living, LeCenter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Faribault.
Barbara M., the daughter of Clarence and Eleanor (Westman) Dahlen was born on May 30, 1933, in Cokato. She married Leon Emery Anderson on February 15, 1953, in Kenyon and he preceded her in death in 2003. Barbara was employed by the Faribault Daily News for many years and enjoyed have coffee with friends, quilting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Anderson; three grandchildren, Michael, Tina and Bailey Anderson; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; Mark Anderson’s life partner, Sandy Moseng; two sisters, Susan Dahlen and Mary (and Terry) Zeien; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon; one son, Mark Anderson.
