Chad M. Davidson, age 52, passed away at his home in Dundas on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Chad was born on October 9, 1973, in Faribault, the son of Ray and Nina (Wright) Davidson.
Chad "Hooch" lived his life fully and with intention, making sure that the people he loved always knew how much they meant to him. He had a way of carrying joy wherever he went, rarely without a smile, especially when he was working on the racecar or restoring old buildings, two of the things that he was extremely proud of and brought joy to his life.
He had a natural ability to light up a room, not just with his presence, but with the way he made others feel seen, valued, and important. Chad didn’t just care about people, he showed it, consistently and wholeheartedly.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his passion, and the genuine connections he built with those around him. His love and energy leave a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
Chad is survived by his wife, Katie Nystuen; children, Mason, Conner, & Sydney; mom, Nina Davidson; sister, Shari (Rick) Malecha; nephew, Nathan; Aunt Peg and Aunt Coney; as well as his other extended family and countless friends that Chad considered to be his own family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Davidson; grandma, Rosetta Wright.
