Larry H. Petersmeyer, age 83, of Nerstrand, died Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at his home in Kenyon.
Funeral services will be held at the Nerstrand United Methodist Church on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Gary Liker will officiate. Interment will be at the Nerstrand Evangelical Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and for one hour before the service at the church on Monday.
Larry Harold, the son of Harold and Ruth (Schimelpfenig) Petersmeyer was born May 8, 1942, in Faribault. Larry was married to Janet Bauer on August 21, 1987, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was a lifelong farmer on the family farm in Nerstrand. He moved to Kenyon earlier this year.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Petersmeyer; three children; three stepchildren, Ron (and Vicki) Bultman,
John Bultman (Tim Schultz) and Becky Bultman; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (and Carol) Petersmeyer and Gary (and Mary) Petersmeyer; brother-in-law, Bill Quiggle; other relatives and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruth, and stepfather Harland Wille; sister, Joan Quiggle, and parents-in-law, Marvin and Dorothy Bauer.
