SEMAC Announces Springboard for the Arts: Work of Art Workshops

Posted

Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council (SEMAC) is collaborating with Springboard for the Arts to host two free workshops for individual artist and culture bearers that are part of their larger series, Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists. Work of Art is a 12-part curriculum focused on teaching fundamental business skills to artists in all disciplines.

The two virtual workshops are Work of Art: Promotions-SEMAC on February 4, 6-8:30 pm, and Work of Art Pricing-SEMAC on March 4, 6-8:30 pm.

The goal of these virtual workshops is to provide tools developed by artists, for artists utilizing Springboard’s decades of work and partnership. This Work of Art series consists of a free workbook for home use, classrooms, or studios, and virtual workshops that have been used and replicated across the country by a wide range of artists, organizations, and educational institutions.

SEMAC will be facilitating 15-30 minute networking sessions to follow each 2 hour long virtual workshop.

Registration is required for these virtual workshops. To register visit Springboard for the Arts. All workshops are free and open to individual artists and culture bearers in SEMAC's 11-county region.

The two upcoming free workshops being offered by SEMAC in partnership with Springboard are:
