Kelly Patrick Allen, born on August 22, 1967, in Des Moines, IA, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota. He is remembered as a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend who cherished the outdoors and had a passion for classic rock, Harley motorcycles, and sports, especially the Vikings.

Kelly graduated from Kenyon High School and built a commendable career, dedicating 20 years to Crown before working at Daikin and, most recently, Aldi's warehouse. His hobbies included riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, watching the Vikings, and spending quality time with friends and family. He was also on a spiritual journey, finding solace in his faith.

He leaves behind his fiancée, Liz Dwyer of Owatonna; his children, Dustin (Cherish) of Northfield and Brittany of Owatonna; his father, Roger (Kay) of Rochester; his uncle Jerry (Judy) of Cottage Grove; and his siblings, Mona (Craig) of Brownsdale, Joe of Fairbault, Roger (Jessie) of Morristown, Rocky (Lisa) of Farmersville, TX, and Randy (Lisa) of Wichita, KS, Bob (Joliene) of Claremont and Keith (Suzy) of Mazeppa. Kelly was a proud grandfather to Dominic, Paisley, Natalie, Rowan, and Chase. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews: Shane, Shanna, Sonia, Jasmyn, Josh, Kristin, Rachel, Spencer, and Ava.

Kelly was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Russell of Kasson, his stepmother, Jeanie, and his stepfather, Dave.

A celebration of Kelly's life is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm at North Alexander Park shelter 2. Attendees are encouraged to wear Harley, Vikings colors, or casual clothing in his honor. The Brick-Meger Funeral Home in Owatonna, MN, is assisting the family during this time.
